SHORT REPORT EPAC (group work)  FALL 25       

SUBJECT:   A SYSTEM TO OBTAIN WATER FROM MOIST AIR  (NO PRICE REQUIRED)

 CONTENT: short report and multimedia presentation. The minimum length of the report will be 3 pages per group (cover, references & bibliography excluded).  An extra page should be added with the references & bibliography.

The duration of the presentation should in no case exceed 8’. ALL  GROUP MEMBERS ARE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PRESENTATION OF THE SHORT REPORT,  BEFORE THE MANDATORY VIDEO

 DATES: The report is to be PUBLISHED no later than NOVEMBER 27 (we´ll have regular reviews during class time). 

General rehearsals scheduled for Tuesday 25 (SIT41) and Thursday  27 (CIT41) 

PRESENTATIONS WILL TAKE PLACE ON DECEMBER 2 (SIT41)  AND  3 (CIT41

 REPORT STRUCTURE

Except for the cover and the references & bibliography, the document (OWN, ORIGINAL PRODUCTION. Standard quoting. Font size 14), should contain the following sections:

1st. - ABSTRACT

Approximately 5% of the total length of the document. It should SUMMARISE and highlight the conclusions of the report, and be drafted in a way that encourages reading the whole of it.

MIND: It is NOT AN INTRODUCTION!     IT IS A SUMMARY.

2nd. – OBJECTIVE

Stating the purpose of the report (this actually is the introduction) and why it is necessary to do research on the subject.

3rd. - DOCUMENTATION/RESEARCH

List of sources consulted, indicating why they are relevant for the research you are doing (a minimum of three).

4th. - RESULTS OBTAINED

It will include tables and graphs that illustrate the data obtained in step 3.

5th. – CONCLUSIONS

They will retrieve in a concise form the information presented in points 2, 3, and 4.  They will set out very clearly the key ideas that we want to convey in the document.

6th. – REFERENCES & BIBLIOGRAPHY

It will follow the standard guidelines for citing web pages, books, and magazines.
